Woody and Judi Thurman of Twin Lakes Kennel have spent more than 35 years breeding and training top-quality Labrador Retrievers. Over 8,000 Labs have been bred and trained at their kennel, with more than 200 earning the coveted AKC Master Hunter title. Woody has also qualified 47 retrievers for the AKC Master Nationals and twice won the Ducks Unlimited Open Championship. Two Twin Lakes Labs, Drake and Rondy, are even honored in the Master National Hall of Fame.
Every puppy from Twin Lakes comes from dominant American field bloodlines, bred for natural hunting instinct, tractability, and sound health. Parents are hip- and eye-certified, and all puppies are guaranteed free from hereditary defects. Structured socialization begins in the litter box, and pups are introduced to birds at six weeks—setting the foundation for outstanding hunters and family companions alike.
